how do you install a cutoff wheel on an angle grinder?
Take off the Retaining Ring with the wrench provided with your A.G. There may be a lock button on the top of the unit that will keep the arbor from rotating.
Put the new wheel on, being sure to center it on the arbor.
Put the retaining ring back on, finger tight, then retighten with the wrench.
Spin the wheel by hand to make sure it is still centered. If not, loosen the ring and re-center.
Be very careful when starting the angle grinder to make sure the wheel is not cracked and willy fly apart. In other words, if the wheel self-destructs, make sure you are not going to hurt yourself or property.
