What setting is best for this battery charger?
my Auto Battery charger has two settings, 10 amp and 2 amp. i have to charge a battery that has been dead for quite some time, but that isnt the point. what setting is best for the fullest charge? does it make a difference? thanks

2 Amp charge is often referred to as a trickle charge - and, although it may take as long as 24 hours to bring the battery to full charge, it is the best method. The 10 amp setting will charge the battery quicker, but it isn't as effective in distributing the charge evenly throughout the electrolyte.
