How do I transfer contact info from my US Cell Phone (Moto v265, no usb,no SIM)to my new Cingular 8525 phone?
The cingular people have told me that they can't do it because the Motorola doesn't have a SIM card. It's a Motorola v262 and it's a couple years old and has the old data port. It has no USB port or infrared capabilities. I'm in charge of distributing 27 phones to employees and I need to come up with a solution asap. We've already switched to Cingular. All of the old phones are U.S. Cellular. Someone told me that they've seen a transfer device that has at least a dozen ports on each side and is designed specifically for this task. Anyone know of it? Cingular doesn't seem to have any solutions for me. Do you? Thanks!
I know what you're talking about. Alltel has phonebook tranfer systems that uses the charging ports on the phones. I'm not sure if they can transfer into a Cingular phone, but it's worth a call to your local Alltel to see if they can.
