heater auto vacuum leak.. can i use a presser tester to put pressure on the line then use soapy water to find?
on the heater vacuum leak can i use a Pressure Tester to put some small amount of pressure on the lines so i can use a soapy water to find it leaking by it bubbling? or will putting pressure on it mess a valve or seal up?
I am not personally keen on using pressure to find a vacuum leak as experience has led to finding leaks where non previously existed. What I mean is that some connections do not hold pressure, but will hold vacuum without a problem. If the vacuum lines are fairly old, simply buy a roll and start replacing it a section at a time.
