What is a "phr2" Screwdriver Bit?
In a multi-pack, screwdriver Bit Set, the following sizes are listed: "p0, p1, p2, phr2, p3...". I know that it is phillips0, phillips1... but what does the "phr2" stand for? Thank you.
What is the difference between "p2" and "phr2"? If "p2" is just the common "phillips 2" size, what does the "r" indicate in the latter?
PHR2 is a Phillips Head Reduced Diameter #2 bit (#2 is a standard size for phillips head screws). The diameter of the bit is smaller than the diameter of a typical Drywall Screw head so the screw head can go below the surface without the bit interfering.
