Lawnmower won't start?
I just took the blade off and sharpened it and then I put the blade back on and tightened it real good and the mower won't start. It work very fine before this. The manual says to tighten to 60 with a Torque Wrench, I don't have one. I can't tighten it much more and any looser seems to not work either. The cord snaps back half way once in a while I am not sure what to do. Thank you
Marvin has it exactly right...Also may I mention..once you pull the Spark Plug out then pull the cord 4 or five times and excess oil will then blow out of the cylinder....clean the plug..then dip it in gasoline before reinstalling...check the oil before starting for it may be low now because of this...It will smoke like crazy when it fist starts up, but it will go away after it burns all the oil residue out of the cylinder
