Whats the difference between an NiMh Battery Charger and a Nicd Battery charger?
I have a PureEnergy EnviroCharger. It is designed to charge NiCd batteries.
Whenever I hook up my NiMh rechargeable batteries to it, they just get hot, but do not charge.
What is the difference in the chargers, and why?

PureEnergy isn't Nicad, they are a Rechargeable Alcaline cell.
NiMH cells charge differently, and need a smart charger to charge them. Your charger is either dumb, or does not know you have a NiMH cell.
