Still trying to fix the car whats next?
it gave up while travelling along at 50,nearest thing to explain it is how it feels when running out of fuel,loss of power started up again briefly then died again towed home and has not started since. The battery is reading 12.53 so that's fine used a circuit tester on starter motor again fine then took out Spark Plug to test for a spark ....no spark......but plenty of fuel as it was spaying out from the spark plug cavity! So what steps shall i take next in my attempt to rectify the problem.P.S. I can;t bring myself to pay£50 for a 2 minute diagnostic readout.
Its a 95 vw sharan 2.0l
Your going to have to replace or check the coil pack next.
If you can measure values I will send the info on it by pdf.file.
