why would a hammer and a feather will fall at the same speed and on moon?
i understand that there is no air resistance but still there is "g" which is 1/6 the earth's "g" so isnt the force with which moon pulls toward its centre is m times g. which includes mass.
No air resistance to gravity's pull, which hinders the falling of a feather, which is more air dynamic than the smooth spherical shape of a ball, rifling on a ball slows its speed and increases its accuracy to point of impact, hence the feather float and turns and doesn't go straight down, example of a weather vane turning when the wind blows and round smooth rocks do not turn. yet if you where to spin them in the absence of air and gravity they turn at the same speed. feathers have small veins that traps the air molecules and gives it upward lift by direction the flow of air over and under it structure increasing the resistance to gravity's down ward pull a airplanes wing has the shape of a birds control surface and allows the plane to stay aloft and not just drop to earth, it direct the air flow over and under the surface to give it lift, the feather has little resistance on top and greater resistance below it control surface, a feather will always fall with the curved surface up like a smile in the presence of air it will fall large end down with gravity's pull because this is where the greatest mass is at. get the point ar ar like a arrow.
