We have a sleep # mattress, on box springs with bed risers?
The top center bed riser has apparently punched through as we have a serious dip in the middle. Need to fix that, wondering if box springs are necessary? Could I build custom height frame (no risers) and possibly omit box springs so that I would have more under bed storage? Any suggestions to keep bed height (to allow storage) that won't tip over if you push the bed or else punch through?
With the sleep # you will have to have some type of solid surface underneath be it you build or boxsprings-should not matter. If you build it just add legs accordingly and strong enought to support this bed (as high as you want).
