Torx Screw (t10) of Printer is rounded!?
Hello, I got a set of cheap torx screwdrivers to dismantle a power supply from my 1225C HP printer. 2 of the screws came off right away, the other 2 seem to not do anything, the screwdriver just goes round and round as if the screw needs a bigger torx, but these screws are identical. This is the first time I have opened it there was no prior damage to the screw, nor did I put so much strength in order to destroy the screw.... I might have rounded the torx by mistake even though i did not force them much
Any ideas? Tomorrow I will go buy a better torx Screw Driver and try again
Try some screw removers (Craftsman "Screw OUTs") are good. This will definitely get the screw out if the screw is stripped.
